Having read both of Ma's books I think there are select elements that are appealing but (even abstracting out his political views, which I strongly disagree with) but the voice alone doesn't carry the narrative because it's so unstructured.
It's essentially an attempt to ape the Patrick Bateman voice in an alt-right style but without the same level of self awareness.
I think you might enjoy my simulation of Bret Easton Elli's style, but integrated with a more detailed narrative structure (and with a totally different set of political arguments). My novel is about a young protocel in the early aughts, and it's available for free on Amazon until this Friday: https://www.amazon.com/INCEL-Novel-ARX-Han/dp/B0C9SNQK9C/
